DURING THE STAY

The hotel is reinforcing elevated practices of safety, hygiene and sanitation at all times in the guest areas and production outlets, as well as the heart of the house through the following measures:

All our team members will be wearing face masks at all times. Proactive sanitization practices by providing hand sanitizers and easy access to handwashing facilities. Frequent disinfection in the guest rooms and guest areas, especially of commonly touched surfaces. Social distancing measures, particularly in dining venues, buffets and other common areas such as the gym, pool and beach. Flexibility to cater to every guest’s personal preferences to minimize physical contact.

In the highly unexpected case, a guest is tested positive, the guest will be given a further PCR test and is to remain in the room during the waiting time for the result and will have to follow the health protocols and measures by HPA, including 14 days isolation.

TOURIST TRAVEL BETWEEN ISLANDS

Tourists may travel between two or many atolls that do not have reported cases of COVID-19.

In an island where a case of COVID-19 has been detected, HPA will conduct the necessary epidemiological investigations and assess the public health measures taken on the resort (i.e., contact tracing has been completed, patients isolated and contacts quarantined). HPA will then advise on tourist travel to and from the resort.

If HPA puts an extended travel restriction on an atoll, new arrivals to the hotel will not be allowed.

However, tourists in the resort may depart from the resort after undergoing an exit screening.

No-objection form for tourist travel movement between inter-tourist islands in accordance with HPA recommendations is required.

Even if there are no cases of COVID-19 on the island, all tourists must undergo an exit screening prior to exit from the island.

The exit screening questionnaire:

  1. Should document any history of fever or respiratory symptoms such as cough, sore throat, running nose or shortness of breath.
  2. It should be ensured that the tourist is not under quarantine or isolation.
  3. Temperature should be checked to exclude fever.
  4. Any tourist who has fever or respiratory symptoms or who is in quarantine/isolation should not be allowed to travel.
  5. This exit screening is done prior to exit from the hotel to ensure that a symptomatic person or a person in quarantine/isolation does not exit the resort/island and travel.
  6. During travel, staff and crew of the vessel should wear masks and maintain physical distancing.

DEPARTURE FROM THE HOTEL

Tourists will have to undergo an exit screening prior to departure from the hotel. This will be done at the Island Clinic.

All departing passengers and airline crew must complete the online Traveler Health Declaration form for departure. The Health Declaration form for departure must be submitted before the time of departure but not exceed 24hrs before the time of departure. The online Traveler Health Declaration form is available from Maldives immigration website portal https://imuga.immigration.tov’mv/

A tourist who is under quarantine or isolation should not be allowed to exit the island.

If a tourist’s home country requires a COVID-19 test result for immigration purposes.

Guests should inform the Hotel personnel of this requirement, so that it can be arranged by the hotel management within the required time frame.

With the mandatory requirements set by selected airlines, our Hotel team is fully prepared to make the PCR exit screening.

We are here to ensure that the Guest’ journey stays uninterrupted. The PRC test procedure is at Guest’s own expenses.
